Going into the playoffs, the 4th seed Owls were not in many of the conversations surrounding finals contenders. They used that to fly under the radar and won 4 straight games, going undefeated in the playoffs to be crowned the 2023 JMS Champions! The game came down to the bottom of the 7th (final) inning where Ray Noormohamed tied the game with a bases clearing double setting up Owls pitcher, Mikael Ratansi, for the walk off hit to right field. Finals MVP went to Mikael Ratansi.

Shoutout to the Mashad Bucks as the runner ups and their captain, Ali Raza Nasser, who was named playoff MVP, batting .824 with 2 doubles, 3 triples and 4 over the fence dingers totalling 17 RBI’s and most importantly 39 bases for charity!
